Discount Passes

A variety of discount passes are available for visitors to fully enjoy Osaka. These passes are convenient as there is no need to buy a ticket at each connection, and save you money without any language problems. Please visit the tour links page for information on places to visit.

Osaka Unlimited Pass

This pass offers unlimited use of trains and buses in Osaka, as well as free admission to over 20 popular sightseeing facilities, including Osaka Castle Museum, a bay cruise and observatories. Discounts and special deals are also given at other facilities, restaurants and shops. Where to buy?: Osaka Visitors' Information Centers or major railway stations.

One-Day Pass

The "One-Day Pass" offers an unlimited use of Osaka municipal transportation network (Subway, New Tram, City Bus). Discounts are also given at some tourist facilities. Every Friday and on the 20th of every month (21st if 20th is a holiday or Sunday), you can use a *Special Ticket (No-My-Car-day Ticket).

Kansai Thru Pass

This pass enables you to ride on subways, private railways and buses throughout the Kansai district, such as Kyoto, Kobe, Nara and Mt. Koya as well as Osaka. Discounts and coupons are available.

Osaka Kaiyu Ticket

1-day pass for the Osaka municipal transportation network (subway, New tram, City Bus) also provides entry to Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan.

  • Elementary School Students and Younger - 1100JPY ($11)



Tourist Information Centers

There are four Visitors' Information Centers around Osaka to provide you with the latest information on Osaka's tourist attractions, shopping sites, restaurants, accommodations, and offer guidebooks and maps.
