OSAKA: AT 402 MUSEUMS AND CUTURAL FACILITIES, FREE ADMISSION ON KANSAI CULTURAL DAY

A total of 402 cultural facilities in the Kansai region, including art galleries and museums, will open their doors to visitors free of charge mainly on Nov. 14 and 15 in a "Kansai Cultural Day" program implemented jointly by the Organization of Kansai Unity and the Kansai Vigorous Cultural Bloc Promotion Conference (some facilities will be open on different days). Featuring in the admission-free program will be permanent exhibitions at facilities in 10 prefectures - Fukui, Mie, Shiga, Kyoto, Osaka, Hyogo, Nara, Wakayama, Tokushima and Tottori, with Tottori taking part for the first time. A total of 357 facilities joined it last year and about 317,000 people visited them.
