International Business Promotion Center (IBPC)
IBPC Osaka Investment Promotion Center was established to attract domestic and foreign investment to Osaka City as part of international economic promotion programs of the Osaka Municipal Government. The mission of the Center is to promote the city's advantages as a destination of investment through the global network of the World Trade Centers Association (WTCA) and the Business Partner City (BPC), as well as to offer extensive support services to potential incoming businesses; matchmaking with potential business partners in Osaka, information about investment incentives, temporary offices, and much more.

Osaka Business & Investment Center (O-BIC)
In April 2001, City of Osaka along with Osaka Prefecture and Osaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry started the Osaka Business & Investment Center (O-BIC), which provides one stop services for enterprises wishing to enter Osaka market.

O-BIC provides:

  • Comprehensive information for foreign-affiliated companies about Osaka ranging from office and industrial site information to incentives.
  • Support service to assist in governmental approvals.
  • Information on companies already operating in Osaka.

Located in the Sakishima Cosmo Square, the iMedio Software Industry Plaza was established as a comprehensive base for the promotion of the multimedia, an industry which will, in turn, drive other industries.

iMedio stands for Incubator for Multimedia Industry Osaka, the section of the Plaza that helps businesses get started and promotes the use of information technology and multimedia. Business Innovation Center Osaka (BICO)
The Business Innovation Center Osaka was established in January 2001 by the Osaka City Economic Affairs Bureau to support small, medium, and venture businesses. So far, BICO has provided a massive range of products, including business matching services, consultations by "Akinai Aid" staff, as well as providing joint industry-university products, business schools, infotech introduction support, and communication sessions. In addition, the Business Innovation Center Osaka has forged strong affiliations with the Credit Guarantee Corporation of Osaka-shi and many other economic organizations, making it a one-stop business support hub.
